My aim as a funeral celebrant is to give each family the option to say goodbye to their loved ones in a way they see fit.
I can advise and help give options, on poems, readings, music and words of comfort. I will simply honour your requests and do everything I can to achieve the ceremony and service that you feel is appropriate for your family.
When we say goodbye to a loved one, we need to be able to express the way we feel and how we say those final words.
Avoiding the word "NO" is crucial in my role as a funeral celebrant. In the realm of honouring your loved one, restrictions like "you can't do that" or "you shouldn't have this" are not applicable. Funerals are celebrations of life, and embracing this perspective is vital.
As your wedding celebrant I will work with you and those around you to plan and cater for your individual needs so that that the celebrations that are unique to you and your loved ones are remembered long after the event has ended.
It is important to me to give you the best day for your celebrant ceremony. This is why you can design your ceremony around your beliefs, be that religious or non-religious.
Celebrants are not at present legally allowed to marry you, that has to be carried out by a registrar, who will formalise and legalise the marriage.
